Loved our 16 night stay here Positive: The property is Kooky and different, didn't see anything else like it when I was shopping around for places to stay. This property is also a lot bigger than most that were on the market yet very reasonably priced. The Kitchen and Laundry facilities are very useful, especially if you are stopping there for a while. There is also plenty of storage space for clothes and belongings and the free use of a parking spot is important if you own or rent a car. A quick walk to the end of Miles Street will put you on the number 1 tram which can either take you straight into the CBD in one direction or take you to the beach in the other direction. The number 58 is also a short walk further up the street, again giving more options. I thought we would be spending a lot on Ubers as this property is away from the main CBD and south of the river but the tram system is very easy to learn and we were fortunate that the trams were free for the whole month of April during our stay Negative: Our only problem with the property is we found it very dark at times, mainly when the sun is not in view of the property. In the evening this is fine when you are relaxing in front of the TV but when you are trying to get ready in the morning, especially in the blue bedroom, it can be quite difficult.

Beslist geen aanrader! Positive: De locatie Negative: Wij zijn niet tevreden over deze accommodatie. Het is ontzettend donker binnen met weinig goede verlichting. Ventileren op een slaapkamer lukt niet, het raam is niet open te krijgen. Geen airco! Het is benauwend en de matrassen zijn niet prettig. Maar nog erger, in de ochtenden werden we om 8.00 verrast met luid geboor en timmerwerk beneden ons. Een renovatie van een langere periode. We hebben de hosting hiervan op de hoogte gebracht en een kleine vergoeding gekregen. We voelden ons niet serieus genomen worden. Je kunt zo’n accommodatie niet verhuren als er zo flink verbouwd wordt of het zou aangegeven moeten worden. Het bepaalt toch je vakantie…helaas.

Positive: Lock box was a very convenient way to hand over the keys. The apartment had a spacious living area, kitchen and bathroom. Washing machine as well as a dish washer was an appreciated perk after having lived on the road for a couple of weeks in different motels. Negative: Be careful to not accidentally close the lid of the letter box where the lock box was located. Because of this we were unable to make use of the lock box for our own convenience.

I was great to be within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the the attractions of the Arts Positive: The location was excellent and the unit very comfortable. Negative: No blinds, just curtains made for less privacy

Perfect location, quiet, but so close to parklands, trams and city for those that like a walk. Positive: The location is fantastic. It's in a quiet area, not in the centre of Melbourne, but a very easy and pleasant walk into the city, or to catch a tram. I love the area, close to parklands as well. The apartment was quirky and cool, and we particularly loved the greyhound/whippet statues in the house as we have a whippet, so a lovely touch for us! Easy to make contact with host. I would stay here again, no hesitation. Negative: If I have to pick something it would be lighting. It was such a quirky lovely place, but the clash in lighting, had a bright warm light and cool yellow lights, I found the bright white light a miss especially when you've gone to so much effort to create a moody vibe. Its not enough to not want to stay there again.
